Longines is updating one of its earliest dive watches with a shaded green lacquered dial and bronze case. A reinterpretation of a 1960s model, The Longines Legend Diver Green retains the clean lines of the original while utilizing up-to-date technical features. Its 42 mm case houses an automatic movement, with silicon balance-spring, that produces a robust 64 hour power reserve. Inside, the green dial is covered by a sapphire crystal box and sports luminous hands and hour markers, along with Arabic numerals enhanced with luminescent rectangles for optimal legibility – a reminder of the watches original purpose. In another nod to the original, the screw-down titanium case-back is decorated with an embossed emblem of a diver. The watch comes on a brown leather strap finished with beige top-stitching, with an optional green nylon NATO strap included. (L3.774.1.50.2)
