The Public School New York x New Balance collaboration coming out next week features a perfectly timed message: We Need Leaders. Inspired by ’70s designs from the New Balance archive, the PSNY 327 features blue nylon uppers with blue and white suede overlays. The mint-green rubber soles and oversized N logo emphasize the shoes heritage aesthetic. On the medial side of each upper there’s a printed NB logo with the phrases “we need leaders” and “All roads lead back to the streets.” printed underneath. And just to drive the message home, the white suede on the heels is embossed with WNL. Check the PSNY site next week for pricing and availability.
