Ray-Ban Studios’ latest collaboration is a handmade piece of art. Conceived and created under the supervision of artist Patrick Mason, the limited edition Ray-Ban StateStreet Oblivion features a unique ‘lava textured’ obsidian effect on the top half of the acetate frame and a vibrant ‘amber’ effect on the bottom half. According to Mason, the design represents his belief that “obsidian stone reaches back to the past. Amber contains the future.” Mason finished the frames with light responsive mirror lenses that transition from grey to clear and a chunky, removable chain. Limited to 100 pairs worldwide, the sunglasses comes in a premium leather case inside a signed and numbered egg-shaped aluminum handbag embossed with the RB Studios and Patrick Mason logos.
