Chopard is expanding its L.U.C. line with a limited edition watch inspired by Neapolitan tailoring. Renowned for its handcrafted timepieces and fine jewelry, the family-owned Swiss manufacturer collaborated with Kiton, a family-run atelier famous for its immaculately tailored suits. Together they created the ultra-thin Chopard L.U.C XP II Sarto Kiton ($10,800.00). The watches 40mm DLC-coated steel case has an overall thickness of just 7.2mm. The black and grey houndstooth pattern on the dial comes form a Kiton fabric. While, the red 15-minute markers at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock, along with the red button above the 6 are nods to the tailors signature color. Inside, the watch is powered by an in-house caliber L.U.C 96.53-L movement and offered on a Kiton cashmere strap lined with red leather lining and secured with red top-stitching. Available in a limited edition of 100 pieces.
