Hublot is going back to the start with an updated version of the 1980 Classic Original to mark its 40th anniversary. The Swiss watchmaker changed the game when it introduced a gold watch on a rubber strap in 1980, laying the foundation for a new vision of Haute Horlogerie. Now available in yellow gold, titanium and black ceramic, the 40 YEARS ANNIVERSARY models maintain the understated design of the original. The 45 mm case includes Hublot’s signature screws on the bezel, a sapphire crystal case back, and easily adjustable rubber strap with a triple deployant clasp. The minimalist, black lacquered dial features faceted hour and minute hands, a seconds hand, the H logo and date window. These updates add a contemporary touch to the original Hublot watch.
