Rolex is upgrading the Oyster Perpetual Sky-Dweller, offering a new 18ck yellow gold version fitted with an Oysterflex bracelet. This is the first watch in Rolex’s Classic line to include the high-performance bracelet, with an Oysterclasp and Glidelock extension system for enhanced comfort and easy adjustment. Inside the 42 mm Oyster case, 18 ct yellow gold hands and hour markers are offset by the black sunray-finish dial. In dark conditions the hands and markers emit a long-lasting blue glow. This new version is equipped with the Sky-Dwellers unique fluted bezel and signature features: a Dual Time Zone GMT complication to simultaneously display two time zones, an Annual Calendar with a red month indicator at each hour marker, and a Ring Command Bezel to control the date, local time, and the second time zone setting. It runs on the models original calibre 9001 movement, one of the most complex calibres created by the brand.
The Sky-Dweller with Oysterflex bracelet is available in 18ct Yellow Gold ($40,000) and Everose Gold ($41,500) from rolex.com.
