For the Fall/Winter 2020 Aimé Leon Dore collection, creative director Teddy Santis adds more tailored pieces to lines high-low mix. A stark white poplin popover shirt is shown under a double breasted checked wool suit worn with a matching peak lapel topcoat. Suit separates also include a double breasted Black Watch blazer with matching trousers. Outerwear options include a pair of classic car coats with tartan and tweed patchwork panels, a tan and off-white shawl collar shearling coat with matching trapper hat, and quilted corduroy puffers. For something more casual there’s a fully-lined yarndye overshirt with matching drawstring trousers or deep pile fleece sweatsuits in various colors. The references remain the same – 90s NYC, American sportswear, baseball, streetwear – but the evolution continues.
