Asics and Reigning Champ wrap up their ‘global run tour’ with a final stop in Paris. Inspired by the city’s historic landmarks and diverse cultural scene, the ASICS x Reigning Champ Paris Edition features technical styles designed to support performance running and the recovery that follows. Highlights include a limited edition GEL-NIMBUS® 22 shoe, a jacquard knit Race Singlet, a 5” Running Short, and co-branded graphic T-shirts, as well as a post-run recovery Pullover Hoodie and Short. The collection’s graphic artwork is based on Point Zéro des routes de France. Located just 50 meters from Notre-Dame, the marker is the exact point of measurement between any French city and Paris.
Asics and Reigning Champ teamed with two Paris natives to create a promotional short for the collaboration. Filmmaker Shawn Dogimont captures noted street artist André Saraiva, aka Monsieur A, running from his Parisian studio at the Hotel Grand Amour, through the 10th arrondissement musings on life, art and movement, while visiting his favorite hangouts, back alleys and tags along the way.
