The new Moritz Grossmann Hamatic Vintage uses a unique self winding movement inspired by the traditional hammer mechanism in 19th century pocket watches. Available in a limited edition of 25 timepieces worldwide, the 41 mm white gold case features a transparent case-back that allows a clear view of the exquisitely finished calibre 106.0 automatic movement. The mechanisms design is so efficient that the slightest arm movement winds the watch. On the mirror-polished ‘black or’ dial, the ‘M. Grossmann’ logo from 1875 and needlelike hands – measuring a mere 0.1 mm wide – pay homage to pocket watches crafted in the 19th century by Karl Moritz Grossmann in his Glashütte atelier.
