The Omega Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon Alinghi watch brings together the best of Swiss precision and innovation. Omega launched the new chronograph to commemorate its collaboration with Geneva-based competitive sailing team – and two time America’s Cup champions – Alinghi. This one-of-a-kind catamaran-inspired Speedmaster takes design ques from the Alinghi boats that fly across the water.
The 44.25 mm chronograph is crafted in black ceramic, with a red Alinghi logo on the stop/start pusher. On the rim, the tachymeter scale is enhanced with Super-LumiNova, while the perforated black rubber strap includes a red rubber interior. The transparent case-back displays an Omega manufactured Calibre 1865 movement with finishes and styling inspired by the hull of the Alinghi TF35 catamaran.
