Louis Vuitton’s Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh joined forces with Human Made designer NIGO for the one-off LV² Collection. Drop 1 of the limited edition capsule includes ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories, and a special version of Vuitton’s original smart watch, the LV² Tambour Horizon Monogram. Incorporating a new LV Monogram pattern superimposed over the Damier checks, the line also introduces the “LV Made” duck – a mallard decoy graphic based on design elements from NIGO’s Human Made line.
The LV² Tambour Horizon Monogram has a 1.2-inch circular AMOLED display with an “LV Made” duck indicator, surrounded by a 24-hour dial ring allowing easy access to time zones around the world. Crafted in Switzerland, the 42 mm steel case is sandblasted and finished with a corrosion resistant PVD coating. The watch allows you to receive texts, access email and perform other functions via its Android Wear OS, which is compatible with with both iOS and Android devices using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and NFC.
