18 East ‘Drop 18’ Mixes Upcycled Fabrics, Fan Favorites & New Looks

18 East ‘Drop Eighteen’ is a collection constructed from upcycled fabrics, reissued customer favorites and “some new stuff too.” Designer Antonio Ciongoli had enough leftover fabric from a previous run to produce the “Leftover Patchwork” version of the Gorecki Caro Pant, cut from double weave jacquard cotton with an elasticated waist. If you’re looking for summer whites, there’s a second version of the Gorecki Caro made with hand-loomed, double weave, embossed, white jacquard cotton and the gauzy Yusef Camp Shirt made from Japanese Giro Inglese woven stripe cotton. 18 East’s Midnight Navy Ikat pant also returns, this time with a matching jacket for a slouchy summer suit. Ciongoli address the times we’re in with two tee’s that acknowledge better days ahead with the brands momentary “The sun will rise” mantra – speaking optimism into existence.
