After successfully collaborating on the pop-up Fendi Caffe and Peekaboo bar at London’s Harrods department store last summer, Fendi and Joshua Vides come together again for the Pre-Fall 2020 California Sky Collection. The Los Angeles-based graphic designer and visual artist is known for his black-and-white renderings of everyday objects, turning them into life-sized outline drawings that mix graffiti with a modern trompe-l’œil style. Vides worked with Silvia Venturini Fendi to add his ‘marker’ style outlines and drawing to a range of apparel and accessories. The men’s collection includes a gabardine suit, satin blousons, cotton jackets and trousers, Bermuda pants, t-shrits, sweatshirts and accessories like the Joshua Vides Baguette, backpack, belt bag, and travel suitcase – all with carefree, California vibes.
