A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Todd Snyder’s latest Timex collaboration will go to the Sylvia Rivera Law Project and the Rainbow Railroad Foundation. In addition to supporting two worthy causes, the limited edition Timex + Todd Snyder Art of Pride Watch celebrates Gilbert Baker’s Rainbow Flag, now a worldwide symbol of pride. The dial inside the watches 34 mm stainless steel case is composed of three rotating colored discs that change shades as the time changes. The mechanism was inspired by a watch Snyder found in the Timex archives. “I saw this watch from the Seventies with the multicolored disks, I wanted to refresh it and make it a celebration of Pride,” says Snyder. “Pride is obviously about love and inclusiveness, and the different colors of the watch embody that.”
