Stone Island worked with Italian shoemakers Diemme to create two new ‘Sneaker Shoes’ for Spring/Summer 2020, the SO166 S.I. Compass Logo and S0165 Camo Dévoré. Like all Diemme shoes, these sneakers are manufactured at the labels factory in Onè di Fonte, Veneto, Northeast Italy – a region famous for its high-end, handmade shoes.
Each pair of Stone Island sneakers are handcrafted using premium cotton canvas and old-school artisanal techniques. The S.I. Compass Logo features an exaggerated, allover logo print while the Camo Dévoré is covered in a textured, ‘burnout’ camo pattern created with muted olive, khaki and blue tones. Both styles have Stone Island’s logo embossed on the heel, high foxing on the uppers for extra protection against wear-and-tear and no-slip white rubber soles.
The S.I. Compass Logo and Camo Dévoré sneakers ($388.00) are available now.
