NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4

The new NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4 was originally designed in collaboration with Rafael Nadal for the 2020 French Open. With the professional season on hold amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the hard court shoe is now available as part of the Summer ’20 NikeCourt Collection – the revised name for Nike’s 2020 French Open range. Built to withstand Rafa’s grinding all-court style of play, the Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4 uses generative, data driven design to integrate durable rubber and though plastic in high-wear areas. By extending the tread from the outsole onto the upper the design team created a seamless transition that provides additional durability and traction without sacrificing visual appeal. Additionally, the one-piece, wraparound upper and Zoom Air unit in the sole combine to deliver improved stability and control on hard court surfaces.

As plans to restart professional tennis gather pace, its possible Rafa could take the court in his full 2020 NikeCourt French Open kit in late September for the rescheduled tournament.

The NikeCourt Air Zoom Vapor Cage 4 ($150.00) is available now at nike.com.
