The FEIT for NY collection pays homage to the brands New York roots and its flagship store at 2 Prince Street. Inspired by wardrobe staples worn by FEIT co-founder Tull Price since the early 90’s, the six-piece capsule was made in small quantities in Japan and finished with the Sashiko hand embroidered technique practiced since the Edo Period (1615 – 1868).
The organic-cotton FEIT “NY” logo tee ($125) uses a ‘freedom stitch’ at the hem and sleeve openings to create a vintage feel that will develop naturally with each wash. Both the heavyweight NY Hooded Sweatshirt ($500) and mid-weight NY Crewneck Sweatshirt ($400) were knitted in Japan on vintage American machines from the 1920s.
FEIT is donating 10% of sales to The Bowery Mission – a rescue mission serving New Yorkers experiencing homelessness and hunger since the 1870s.
