Nicholas Daley’s first collaboration with Fred Perry was a homage to Reggae Klub, his parent’s late 1970’s, early 80’s club night that played a pivotal role in the emergence of reggae sound system culture in Britain. His second collaboration will channel a similar retro vibe to reimagine the barrel bag and monkey boot.
The Fred Perry x Nicholas Daley Barrel Bag features a zipped compartment at one end and his ND monogram at the other. The capsule also includes two exclusive versions of the Monkey Boot based on an original design from the archives of British shoemakers George Cox. Made in England with suede uppers, leather lining and black rubber soles, this boot keeps the 14-hole construction and side stitch detailing of the original while adding a contrasting heel support and co-branded insole.
