Atelier & Repairs revived a selection of Alpha Industries deadstock Field Coats and Fishtail Parks using upcycled fabrics to create a limited edition capsule of one-of-a-kind pieces. Each coat now features meticulously hand-stitched elements, including details added using leftover and vintage cotton fabrics.
Available in army green and woodland camo, the Alpha Industries M-65 Field Coat ($325.00) features embellishments on each of the four exterior pockets and on the back of the jacket. Alpha’s Shell Fishtail Parka ($245.00) features dead stock camo pieces as a large envelope pocket on the back and as pocket flaps on the front. The black parka uses a South Korean Marine Corps camo pattern issued in the 1980s while the white parka uses a five-color ‘jelly bean’ style camo pattern issued by the Australian Defense Force.
Driven by a “zero-waste” approach to manufacturing, the Atelier & Repairs x Alpha Industries collaboration used reclaimed apparel, textiles and trims to help reduce the number of garments discarded and raise awareness of the issues surrounding overproduction in the fashion industry. Limited pieces are available now exclusively from atelierandrepairs.com and alphaindustries.com.
