For over 50 years, the shell-toe Adidas Superstar has been a favorite of team players and game-changers in the worlds of sport, music, fashion and art. From MVPs to MCs. Adidas is emphasizing this connection to culture makers and innovators with the new Change Is a Team Sport campaign – an effort to “use the power of teamwork to create and inspire positive change in local communities across the globe.”
The campaign kicks off with a film directed by and staring Jonah Hill, featuring a cast of Adidas’ brand ambassadors. The film follows skater Jenn Soto as she interacts with creatives from different generations who come together to work for change, all decked out in black tracksuits and Superstars. Soto’s trip through the facility underscores the fact that it’s teamwork that drives meaningful change – and cool people wear black tracksuits and Superstars.
As you watch, look out for the likes of Ninja, Kerwin Frost, Blackpink, Pharrell Williams, Blondey McCoy, Tyshawn Jones, Yara Shahidi, Anitta, Mariah Duran, Mark Gonzales, Paul Pogba, Jackson Wang, Liz Cambage, Chris Severn, Mette Towley, Tracy McGrady, Anna Isoniemi, and Nigo.
