Birdwell partnered with Australian artist, musician, and surfer Kai Brown on a limited series of 30 customized field jackets to raise funds for the Australian bushfires relief efforts.
Cut and sewn in California from durable ripstop cotton poplin, the amR x Bridwell Aloha Field Jacket features solid redwood buttons, a removable Velcro ALOHA patch on the left chest, amR chain-stitched branding on the right back hem, and a woven Bridwell label on back left hem. The back of each jacket is chain stitched by Brown himself with ALOHA in yellow above a red hibiscus flower. All of the proceeds from the sale of the jacket will be donated to Australian state fire services fighting on the front lines.

Inspired by a customized jacket made by his grandmother, Kai Brown launched custom denim brand All My Relations (amR) in 2015. Brown came up with the name after a Native American smudge down ceremony where he heard the words Mitakuye Oyasin which translates to we are related. The name reflects Kai Brown’s world view of interconnection.
