Missoni’s first Adidas Running collaboration celebrated the brands co-founder Ottavio Missoni. Before starting the family knitwear business with his wife Rosita, Ottavio joined the Italian National Track Team, winning four individual national championships and competing for Italy in the 1948 Summer Olympics in London – where the team wore tracksuits designed by Missoni. This legacy of athleticism also informs the second adidas X Missoni capsule, featuring six multicolor versions of the Pulseboost running shoes and a range of activewear.
Models Alton Mason and Patryk Lawry join dancers Umi Akiyoshi and Matthew Perez to bring the capsule collection to life with a dynamic campaign inspired by contemporary dance and athletic movement, choreographed by Emma Chadwick and shot by photography duo Santiago & Mauricio.
