Paraboot finally did a three-way. The French shoemaker partnered with Barbour and Beams on a limited edition capsule offering exclusive versions of Paraboot’s Michael – a lug sole, Norwegian-welted style first released in 1945 – and Barbour’s Bedale – a riding jacket designed in 1980 by Dame Margaret Barbour.
For the Paraboot x Barbour x IG Beams collaboration Paraboot updated the Michael to created the Mirabeau, a Beams exclusive with Barbour waxed canvas inlaid along the collar and gold eyelets that match the studded accents on Barbour jackets. Barbour designed the Beadle SL, a thorn-proof waxed cotton jacket with two large bellows pockets, hand-warmer pockets and a traditional corduroy collar. Barbour added chin straps made with Paraboot leather tanned, cut and sewn in France.
