Helmut Lang’s Artist Series is back with a limited edition collection of t-shirts and hoodies by designer and multimedia artist PZ Opassuksatit. The self-described “Thai-born babe” heads up a Paris-based agency specializing in art direction, visual merchandising, product design and conceptual marketing. Inspired by the City of Love, her Helmut Lang x PZtoday© capsule features the custom Valentine and Radio graphics. The “Valentine Series” t-shirt and hoodie have cartoon hearts pierced by cupids arrow on the chest and back. The “Radio Series” graphic promotes a fictitious radio station (89.0 New York) and encourages everyone to “listen to your heart.”
Shot in Paris around the Moulin Rouge and Sacré-Couer, the promotional images and accompanying installation, the Loneliest Scarecrow Story, were designed by Opassuksatit and shot by Davit Giorgadze.
