The 2019 adidas US Open Collection makes a statement on and off the court. Designed in collaboration with Brooklyn Creator Farm – the future-focused Greenpoint office where adidas hosts designers from studios around the world – the line uses ultra-breathable Climalite moisture wicking fabrics to keep athletes cool and dry on the famous hard courts of Flushing Meadows. Made entirely from recycled polyester, the NY Collection stays true to adidas’ commitment to phase out the use of virgin polyester by 2024.
From the men’s collection, Alexander Zverev will wear the NY Printed Tee, featuring a ‘glitch’ style graphic inspired by the streets of NYC, and the ergonomic NY Solid Short, constructed for maximum freedom of movement. Dominic Thiem will wear the NY Polo with a modern 3 button placket and a flat knit collar in the vibrant glow green colorway. Stefanos Tsitsipas, Lucas Pouille, Jo-Wilfried Tsonga and other adidas athletes will also wear the NY Printed Tee and NY Melange Short.
