Breitling is now the ‘Official Luxury Watch’ of the Ironman triathlon series. As part of the partnership the Swiss watchmaker will sponsor several events, including the Ironman 70.3 World Championship in Nice, France, and the 2019 Vega Ironman World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i. To celebrate the tie-up Breitling created the new Superocean Automatic 44 Ironman Limited Edition.
With an incredible 100 bar (1000 meters) water-resistance and COSC-certified automatic movement, the Superocean Automatic 44 Ironman is tough and reliable enough for the relentless conditions of any modern endurance competition. Limited to 300 pieces, the watch has a 44-millimeter stainless-steel case and a black dial featuring the Ironman logo. The numerals, indexes, and hands are coated with Super-LumiNova for optimal readability in any lighting conditions. The caseback is engraved with the Ironman logo and the legend “ONE OF 300”, reflecting the watches limited-edition status.
