Moscot is bringing a piece of the Lower East Side to the East End. The Moscot Montauk Summer Pop-up Shop at The Beach Club at Gurney’s offers beach goers and hotel guests the opportunity to try-on and purchase sunglasses right on the sand. The Pop-ups pushcart is a nod to the optical brands origins in 1899 when Hyman Moscot began selling eyeglasses from a pushcart on Orchard Street.
The summer-long partnership spans all three Gurney’s Resorts properties: Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa in Montauk, NY, the newly opened Gurney’s Star Island Resort & Marina in Montauk, NY, and Gurney’s Newport Resort & Marina in Newport, RI. Each location will be stocked with a curated range of Moscot sunglasses. To commemorate the collaboration, The GELT SUN in Honey Blonde will be customized in an exclusive Gurney’s ‘Golden Hour’ Custom Made Tint (above) and available for purchase in all Gurney’s shops.
