James Bond is a perennial source of sartorial inspiration that’s proven irresistible to designers. Last year Orlebar Brown released a limited edition collection of their Bulldog swim trunks with archival artwork from the Bond films Dr. No, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice and Live And Let Die. Following the success of the swim collection, the London-based label is expanding their collaboration with EON productions into a 15 piece capsule based on all the classic Bond films. Spanning five decades of James Bond style, the looks include Sean Connery’s terry polo from Dr. No and Thurnderball onsie, to George Lazenby’s tux shirt from On Her Majesty’s Secret Service and Roger Morre’s safari looks; the shirt from Diamond Are Forever and the jacket from The Man With the Golden Gun. Naturally, there are swim trunks/shorts to go with each film but the sportswear is the star of this show.
