Los Angeles based footwear brand CLAE teamed up with renowned surfboard shaper and glasser Paul Lefèvre, aka Son of Cobra, for a limited edition footwear and surfboard capsule. Inspired by their shared commitment to innovation and design – and their mutual affection for West Coast style – the collaboration updates CLAE’s Bradley and Gregory court-inspired sneakers with a digitally printed marble pattern, neoprene heel accent and flat waxed cotton laces.
To go with the new versions of the Bradley and Gregory, Lefèvre designed an exclusive version of Son of Cobra’s Retro Fish Board. The CLAE x Son of Cobra retro fish boards ($800.00) are small wave catchers with an extra tail that makes the backside more manageable, while the marbleized finish is unique enough to command extra attention in the water. Available in black or white, each board has a customized Son of Cobra x CLAE metal nameplate.
