Just in time for SIHH 2019, Cartier unveils the latest model in the Santos collection. The Santos de Cartier Large Model has a new gradient blue dial and comes with a second navy blue calfskin leather strap in addition to the original stainless steel bracelet. The integrated “QuickSwitch” release allows you to change the strap/bracelet without a tool. The bracelet can also be adjusted without a screwdriver using the “SmartLinks” mechanism introduced last year. The proportions of the watch have not changed with a 39.8mm x 47.5mm x 9.08mm stainless steel case. The movement is the Swiss automatic Cartier in-house caliber 1847 MC with 23 jewels, 28,800 vph and a 42 hour power reserve first introduced on the 2015 Clé de Cartier.
