Founded by aviation enthusiasts and pilots Giles and Nick English in 2002, Bremont’s designs are inspired by a love of aviation, historic aircraft and all things mechanical. The brothers interest in historic planes was the inspiration behind their latest watch, the Bremont Supersonic. The limited edition timepieces celebrate the 50th anniversary of the worlds first supersonic passenger plane – Concorde. The Supersonic’s white sunburst dial is reminiscent of Concorde’s specially developed highly reflective paint and the blue hands match the British Airways blue of the cabin crews uniforms. The silhouette of this groundbreaking aircraft is etched into the movement’s customized base plate and every Supersonic watch incorporates a ring of aluninium from Heathrow’s last remaining Concorde, the Alpha Bravo.
A portion of the proceeds from each Supersonic sold will be donated to the Air League Trust, to support their efforts to expand opportunities in the aviation and aerospace industry for young people from all backgrounds.
The Bremont Supersonic is available in Stainless Steel ($12,495.00), White Gold ($23,995.00) and Rose Gold ($22,495.00) from bremont.com and Bremont New York, 501 Madison Avenue (at 52nd Street).
