The new GBA800AT-1A is G-Shock’s first-ever collaboration with Japanese streetwear brand ASICS Tiger. The limited edition watch works with the G-Shock Connected app, allowing users to track and view daily steps and calories burned using a built-in accelerometer. Besides recording daily step counts and calorie consumption, the app displays a step count graph showing calories and exercise intensity (5 levels) for each day, week and month. When activated by the smartphone, the step count is displayed graphically on a map every 30 minutes.
Each model also comes equipped with standard G-SHOCK technology of shock resistance and 200M water resistance, a 1/100th second stopwatch with 200 lap memory, double auto LED lights, dual time, interval countdown timer (up to 5 times), target alarms (up to 10 times) and multiple daily alarms – all in a 48.6 mm case.
The G-SHOCK X ASICS GBA800AT-1A ($160) is available at shopcasio.com and the G-SHOCK Soho Store NYC.
