Barneys New York Sole Series is back with three new designs from Vans. This is the fifth BNY Sole Series collaboration with the Southern California brand and the second time they have re-imagined the iconic checkerboard pattern. This time the Barneys design team reworked the Sk8-Hi, Authenitc LX low-tops and the Slip-On in high-quality leather with an exaggerated checkerboard pattern. “For these exclusives, we playfully enlarged the black and white checks to 9 times the size and then printed the pattern onto leather” says Senior Buyer Chris Pepe.
