The Gitman Family has been making shirts in Pennsylvania since 1932. In 1978 they started manufacturing under the Gitman Brothers label and today they are one of the few remaining shirt-makers with production based in the USA. To celebrate 40 years of shirtmaking and honor the legacy of its founders, Gitman Vintage reproduced 40 archival fabrics to use in their Spring/Summer 2018 collection. The shirts are a mix of East Coast prep, Californian cool and tropically inspired Hawaiian prints with a special commemorative label stitched into every one.
