The collaboration between Ernest Sabine of NYC-based clothing and accessories line Ernest Alexander and Ashley Bezamat of eyewear label Dom Vetro was as natural as their longstanding friendship. Inspired by the beauty of the Italian Alps the friends created a pair of dual acetate frames in olive-green and marbled onyx. The 60s inspired Primo sunglasses come with a pair of mirrored clip-on lenses while the Ernesto II design is slightly more restrained. Like every pair of Dom Vetro eyewear, the Primo and Ernesto II are handmade in the Italian Alps by local craftsmen, drawing on 300 years of experience in spectacle and glass-making. But these two style are strictly a limited edition – only 25 pieces of each style will be produced.
