Kris Van Assche commissioned famed Belgian photographer Willy Vanderperre to capture the spirit of his Dior Homme Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Vanderperre, who regularly contributes to Arena Homme Plus, Another Man and L’Uomo Vogue, captured the incongruous elegance of Van Assche’s Dior. Saw Your Face Before is a subtle game of mirrors and symmetries taking place under the Hollywood sun. With model Tim Schuhmacher nonchalantly stretched out by the swimming pool, he demonstrates a style at once pared down and offbeat, where the classic becomes contemporary.
