Omega recently reissued a limited-edition version of its iconic Seamaster Bullhead chronograph. With its characteristic symmetrical case and bezel, the original 1969 Seamaster Bullhead is among the rarest and most collectable chronographs ever produced.
By keeping the Bullhead’s shield-shaped case, inner revolving bezel and unusual placement of its chronograph pushers and crowns, Omega managed to retain all the charm of the original while making a significant change to the watches movement. The new Bullhead (above) is powered by an automatic Co-Axial calibre 3113, which replaces the manually-wound calibre 930 found in the vintage model (below). The new chronograph is water-resistant to 15 bar (150 metres / 500 feet) and has been produced in an edition limited to 669 pieces.
