IWC Schaffhausen continues to support disadvantaged children and adolescents with the seventh edition of the “Laureus Sport for Good Foundation” Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the Portuguese Yacht Club Chronograph will benefit over 100 Laureus Foundation projects worldwide.
The image engraved on the back of the watch was chosen through a children’s drawing competition organized through local Laureus Sport for Good Foundation projects. The subject of this year’s competition was “Time to move” and children from all over the world were encouraged to submit drawings. The jury chose 12-year-old Hakkini Hasanga Sandumal De Silva’s image of a runner crossing the finish line as the winning design.
The Laureus Sort for Good edition, produced in a limited edition of 1,000 watches, is water-resistant to 60 meters and fitted with the IWC-manufactured 89361 with 38 jewels and a power reserve of 68 hours. MSRP $15,100. From more information go to IWC
