Girard-Perregaux’s 1966 collection has been lauded for its clean lines and timeless elegance with its automatic winding movements in a particularly elegant, extra-thin case. The collection pays tribute to an era innovation in which Girard-Perregaux was one of the few watchmaking manufactures to have its own R&D team. In 1966 the watchmaker introduced the first High Frequency movement, which greatly improved accuracy and performance.
The Girard-Perregaux 1966 Small Seconds and Date is the newest addition to the 1966 collection. The 18K rose gold case is water-resistant to 30 meters with dials available in silvered opaline and cognac.
