For his Fall/Winter 2013 collection Michael Bastian took inspiration from the dark, spare and introspective vision of American painter Andrew Wyeth. After last seasons sunny/sexy Fire Island inspired show Bastian, and creative director Stefan Campbell, switched to a darker 80s punk inspired palette of black and olive with models made up with smokey eyes beneath wide-brimmed fedoras by milliner Eugenia Kim. But ultimately this was a Michael Bastian show so even with the Goth touches there were enough fair isle sweaters, cargo pants (natch) and smart blazers to satiate any Bastian fan.
