After seven star turns Oscar-winning actress Judi Dench’s character was dispatched in the twenty-third installment of the Bond franchise, Skyfall. Dench was cast as the first ever female M, head of MI6. Her character went out in a blaze of glory in her climatic last scene in the blockbuster series, fatally injured in a gunfight with Javier Bardem’s flamboyant villain and his henchmen. The acting dame kept four of the shells she discharged from her gun and had them fashioned into gold and ruby cufflinks.
British jeweler Roger Elliott plated the brass cartridges in gold and set the tips with natural rubies. He created bullet shaped end bars and engraved them with Skyfall, the name of Bond’s fictional childhood home in the Scottish Highlands where M dies in the arms of Daniel Craig’s 007. Elliott is now selling replicas of the Skyfall cufflinks in silver, gold, and platinum.

I agree. Well done Ms Dench. She never puts a foot wrong. I’m not into old birds but I would definitely have a go.
Well done, Dame Judi Dench! Talk about cufflinks with an edge… If only they were silver or titanium, these cufflinks would go perfectly with a Seamaster 007 Skyfall limited edition timepiece. Ah well, still a really neat piece of Bond memorabilia!
