Since taking over Balmain from his former boss Christophe Decarnin, Olivier Rousteing has worked to steer the house in a new direction while retaining some of the elements that made Decarnin’s Balmain a sensation. For Spring 2013 Rousteing was inspired by Miami and the city’s Cuban culture- cause spring in Miami is the perfect time for woven leather pants and articulated moto jeans(?).
