GANT by Michael Bastian Spring 2013 Preview

For the second season in a row Michael Bastian’s GANT collection has been inspired by island life. His Spring 2012 GANT by Michael Bastian collection was inspired by the 50th state, Hawaii. For Spring 2013 Bastian found inspiration in the natural beauty and colors of the Galápagos Islands. The collection is signature Bastian, classic American prep, with a twist. The South American inspiration is most evident in the prints, textures and accents woven throughout the collection, especially the accessories. The stage sets that have been created for the show feature beautiful bold, almost primitive, graphics of sea turtles, albatrosses and many of the iconic symbols of the island chain.

The GANT by Michael Bastian Spring 2013 collection will be presented on Wednesday, September 12th at Industria Superstudio.

  1. Michael Bastian has a boyfriend that happens to be South American, doubt Corey is from there. They have been together for few years now, stop spreading BS.

  2. What exactly is not cool? Him being gay or calling him gay? When you use the word “accusing” you imply that if he is/was gay there is something wrong, like he is committing a crime if it were true. That’s what’s not cool. If the designer and the model want to fuck around that is there business. As long as the clothes look good.

  3. Hoffman-Bates is way off base. I have worked with Cory Bond and he is married. You shouldn’t go around accusing people of being gay. Not cool.

  4. Cory Bond is the model with the plant. Thats Michael Bastian’s boyfriend. He is in every Michael Bastian show.

  5. This is one of my favorite brands. It looks a lot like the Michael Bastian line but at half the price. I want the belt in the second picture, but I probably could just buy it off a street vendor like they did.
