SSDD’s fall/winter 2012 lookbook was shot by photographer Rick Rodney in Marfa, Texas using real men instead of models (not Adam Kimmel I’ve got tatts and an ironic beard real… this is I’ve been smoking, drinking and going hard for 50 years real). SSDD (Same Shit Different Day) is an offshoot of artist and designer Erik Brunetti’s FUCT brand. Brunetti, a pioneer of the streetwear movement, started FUCT in 1991 in Venice, California and is known for re-appropriating and subverting pop culture themes. Instead of subversion Brunetti and Rodney choose a literal interpretation of the collections western aesthetic.
