Original Fake, the clothing and lifestyle brand established by artist and designer KAWS, is releasing the Original Fake XP Tote bag ‘inspired’ by the Parisian trunk makers signature chevron pattern. Established in 1792, family owned Goyard is the oldest Parisian trunk maker in business today. The iconic Goyard pattern of chevrons intertwined with linear stripes is created with small dots juxtaposed to form the letter Y, inspired by the family surname name. The Original Fake XP tote bag uses the KAWS X Eyes, a modern classic, to create and all over pattern ‘inspired’ by Goyard’s signature design.
