Givenchy Men’s Spring 2013

First Riccardo Tisci put men in flowers, bird of paradise no less. Then he had everyone wanting t-shirts with rottweilers, and then sharks. Now, like any good Catholic Italian boy should, he has found Jesus. Well, if not exactly Jesus at least a couple of saints. The Givenchy Spring 2013 collection included Tisci’s interpretations of religious imagery printed on sweatshirts, t-shirts, bomber jackets and muscle t’s. These active shapes were rendered in feminine fabrics like organza and duchess satin for a surprisingly masculine look.
