The Missoni Spring 2013 show featured a runway covered with chevrons made of colored sand in a collection inspired by Southeast Asian. The staging help to set the mood and showcase the clothes but it also helped to focus attention on the shoes, including Missoni’s latest collaboration with Converse. The Missoni x Converse Auckland Racer marks the third collaboration between the two brands. At this time Converse has no plans to produce the shoe.
