Moschino’s Bill Shapiro and Rossella Jardini credited “the graphic power of the supermarket” as the inspiration behind their spring 2013 collection. With a heavy dose of Andy Warhol the designers used the Budweiser logo and detergent box graphics to create tailored pieces in Pop Art prints for the first half of a show which also included fuchsia knits, safety yellow pants, cotton pajama fabric pants and gingham shirts – a supermarket worthy selection.
