Fifteen years after her first runway show and eight years after her last show for her namesake label, Jil Sander returned to Milan with her Spring 2013 collection. “It’s good to be at home again,” the designer told The Associated Press backstage after the much applauded show. “We want to keep our integrity and go back to our roots,” said the 68-year old German-born designer.
The minimalist collection of pristine white shirts, tailored jackets and coats, with and without sleeves, and slim trousers was a return to form for both the label and the lady.
