Alistair Carr’s final Pringle of Scotland menswear collection for spring/summer 2013 – he is being replaced at the helm by an in-house design team for now – was heavy in knits, but the knits themselves weren’t heavy at all. The sight of Argyle sweaters, laden with childhood memories, was touching. In yellows and greys, the diamond shapes appeared to be slightly elongated. Morphing them with horizontal lines on another occasion was also clever. The rest of the pullovers were camouflaged or micro-textural, easily combined with whatever look you’ve got going for yourself. (Anzej Dezan)
